‘You’ Returns To Netfilx In 2025 For Final Season

Our favorite stalker/ serial killer will be returning to screens very soon. Netflix’s You is confirmed to return for its 5th and final season next year. That’s right! Penn Badgley will be reprising his role as the quiet yet eccentric and slightly delusional Joe Goldberg. Or is it, Jonathan Moore? It’s hard to keep up these days…

On December 19th Netflix announced via Instagram that the season will in fact be airing in 2025 and for fans to expect, “a killer goodbye.” If that gave you an unsettling feeling in the pit of your stomach, you’re not alone considering where season 4 left us.

Fan questions and comments flooded the Instagram post. Most of them hilariously stated that 2025 had better mean January. After all, 2025 could mean next month or 11 months from now. Fingers crossed it will be released in the first quarter of the year much like season 4 and not the 4th quarter like season 3. We’re also unsure of whether it will be split into 2 parts, releasing the season in 5-episode increments.

Now do we know who will be returning this season? No… Do we know whether Joe will be living in the UK or the United States this season?… No. But do we expect a crazy season full of dramatic Joe Goldberg monologues, more secrets and lies, and casual stalking? Yes! And honestly that’s all we need, right? That’s why he is a beloved character despite his obvious dangerous and unpredictable ways. But either way stay tuned for more You updates. Much like Joe, we’ll be watching…
