The official trailer for the upcoming horror movie ‘Immaculate’ has been released by NEON.
The trailer shows Sydney Sweeney as a nun who is miraculously pregnant – a seemingly immaculate conception. “Out of all of the women in the world, why did he choose me,” her character says in the trailer.
Directed by Michael Mohan, Sweeney stars as Cecilia, “an American nun of devout faith, embarking on a new journey in a remote convent in the picturesque Italian countryside. Cecilia’s warm welcome quickly devolves into a nightmare as it becomes clear her new home harbors a sinister secret and unspeakable horrors.” as a synopsis reads.
In addition to the ‘Anyone But You’ star, who also produces the film, the cast includes Àlvaro Morte, Dora Romano, Giorgio Colangeli, Simona Tabasco, Benedetta Porcaroli and Giampiero Judica. Jonathan Davino, Teddy Schwarzman, and Michael Heimler also produced the movie, and the script was written by Andrew Lobel.
‘Immaculate’ is set to hit theatres March 22.
