On December 26, 2024, Seventeen gave fans a fantastic Christmas present by announcing that BSS’s (BooSeokSoon) will release their second single album, TELEPARTY, on January 8, 2025.
It’s been almost two years since BSS’s last EP, Second Wind, and while fans always love when they release new music, they weren’t sure if or when BSS would come back. Hoshi, one of the members of BSS, has been hinting that he will begin his military enlistment sometime in 2025, so it makes sense for BSS to release music before he goes.
To promote the upcoming album, the Seventeen X account posted a two-minute teaser video titled, “부석순 (SEVENTEEN) 2nd Single Album ‘TELEPARTY’: 여러분의 청춘은 안녕하십니까? (How is your youth?)”. The teaser video starts with the members of BSS asking, “Are you all enjoying your youth? Or does it feel like your youth is full of nothing but struggles?” They follow it with the overarching question, “What is youth?” to which they respond, “Youth is, in fact, knowing how to enjoy life in the present.”
The concept of living and enjoying life in the present moment seems to be the theme for the album. Throughout the teaser, they show BSS helping people of different ages in various environments find their youth.
The official promotional schedule was published on December 27, 2024. The following day, the TELEPARTY: GA version photo concepts were released. Concept photos for TELEPARTY: The NA version will come out on January 5, 2025, and the track list will be revealed on January 6, 2025. Thankfully, there isn’t a lot of time between the album’s promotional rollout and release date, so fans can look forward to a very exciting release week! We can’t wait to see what BSS has come up with.
