Mr. Worldwide also known as Mr. 305 but really known to his earliest fans as Pitbull, will be setting up shop in Las Vegas. It’s just been announced that he will be headlining his own Vegas residency! Not sure who pitched this idea to the Las Vegas residency gods but we’re so happy they did!
On September 19th Pitbull took to Instagram to post a video compilation of his most energetic performances with the caption, “Something special is on the way, Vegas. 305 to 702… stay tuned.” As promised, on September 20th he confirmed suspicions by posting the official announcement! “Join the party at Fountainebleau Las Vegas for Vegas After Dark!” Some may not understand how great this news is. The proud Cuban by way of Miami, Florida has been topping music charts since 2004 with his debut album M.I.A.M.I. Some early favorites can be found on this album like “Toma” and Culo.” This was only the beginning. More hits from his 3rd album The Boatlift flooded radio airwaves in 2007. It provided us with “Go Girl,” “The Anthem,” and “I Know You Want Me.”
Needless to say with 12 studio albums and over 2 decades in the music industry Pitbull can absolutely hold his own and has more than enough music to put on an outstanding Las Vegas residency. It’s a wonder why it hasn’t happened sooner!
