SZA and Keke Palmer starring in a hilarious new buddy comedy movie? We’re already sprinting to the theater! The trailer for “One of Them Days” released today and it already looks quite promising.
From the trailer, it appears the story follows two best friends, Dreux and Alyssa, portrayed by Palmer and SZA respectively, as they try to make ends meet but most importantly: pay their rent. Due to one of their characters’ boyfriend’s very unfortunate misspending of their rent money, as the friends attempt to come up with $1,500, this is where the hysterical hijinks ensue.
Directed by Lawrence Lamont and produced by Issa Rae, the cast features Lil Rel Howery, Maude Apatow, Janelle James, Katt Williams, and Amin Joseph. With other cast members such as Keyla Monterroso, Patrick Cage and Aziza Scott.
