Minho of SHINee has announced a new full-length solo album, Call Back, and will hold his first ever solo concert, MEAN: of my first, on November 30, 2024, and December 1, 2024.
Call Back comes out on November 4, 2024, and will contain 10 tracks, including the lead single of the same name. Minho has taken on a few acting roles recently, and his last musical release was a mini album in 2022, so fans are very excited to hear new music!
Promotional activities for Call Back begin on October 24, 2024, with promotional photos, and the first musical preview comes out on October 25, 2024.
Minho’s upcoming concert, MEAN: of my first, was announced on October 19, 2024 through SHINee’s official X account. MEAN stands for Melody, Energy, Amusement, and Next. Fans will finally see the many sides of Minho as he is the final SHINee member to have a solo concert.
SHINee’s X account posted the first teasers for both sides of Call Back! on October 23, 2024. Side A consists of five songs: “Call Back,” “Slow Down,” “Fireworks,” “Came and Left Me,” and “Something About U.” Side B includes the remaining five songs, “Round Kick,” “Affection,” “I Don’t Miss You,” “Because of You,” and “Would You Mind.”
The song in the background of Side A’s teaser is “Fireworks.” It has a hip-hop vibe but also incorporates different instruments, including piano, and mixes in other genres.
For Side B, we get to hear a clip of “Because of You.” This song is the complete opposite of “Firework.” It is a slow song at its core and has an r&b vibe.
Fans are showing their excitement by trying to guess the two featured artists, and it’s a lot of fun to see. We’ve only heard 20 seconds of these songs and definitely want more!
SHINee’s X account posted the first promotional photos for Call Back! on October 23, 2024. The images show Minho walking by himself in what looks like a city center. The second batch of images show him leaning against a wall, eating french fries. All of the images seem to show him during his normal daily life.
