After two years, Junny is coming back to tour the United States!
While we have recently seen Junny featured on Dive Studios’ podcast, Get Real, he hasn’t released much music since his 2022 full-length album Blanc.
In 2023, he released “Invitation,” featuring Gaeko, and fans have been excitedly waiting for more. In an interview with Zapzee, Junny said that he took the past two years as a time to rediscover himself and think about the music he wanted to make.
Junny released his most recent EP, dopamine on June 13, 2024. This album highlights Junny’s vocals and sounds similar to his last album while also leaving room for experimentation. Dopamine opens with its main single, “Rush,” featuring Bobby. It is very catchy, and the vocals match perfectly with the production. There is a great mix of upbeat songs, slower r&b vibes, and a ballad on the album. It’s one of my favorite releases of the year.
On August 14, 2024, he announced that he would bring the dopamine tour to North America. The tour will start on October 28, 2024, in his hometown of Vancouver, Canada, and will end on November 13, 2024, in Seattle, WA.
