(SPOILERS AHEAD)
It looks like the Pogues are continuing their adventure in Morocco…and Rafe is coming along?!
The first part of the highly anticipated fourth season of Outer Banks is now streaming on Netflix, with Part 2 set to drop on November 7. This season promises more thrills as John B (Chase Stokes), Sarah (Madelyn Cline), JJ (Rudy Pankow), Kiara (Madison Bailey), Pope (Jonathan Daviss), and Cleo (Carlacia Grant) dive into their most dangerous adventure yet: hunting for Blackbeard’s treasure.
What happens in Outer Banks, Season 4, Part 1?
Following the dramatic events of Season 3, which concluded with the Pogues having discovered gold in El Dorado, Season 4 picks up 18 months later. The group returns to their home in the Outer Banks, having established a new safe haven dubbed “Poguelandia 2.0.” However, financial troubles soon pull them back into the world of treasure hunting. As they face off against new enemies and grapple with personal dilemmas, they must question their identities and what they are willing to sacrifice to protect their home.
If you’ve finished the first five episodes, you know the Pogues all ended up in some sort of complicated situations, including discovering an unexpected secret about the truth about JJ’s family: “JJ, who is perhaps the Pogue-iest of the Pogues, learns that his drunken jailbird of a father, Luke (Gary Weeks), isn’t really his dad. And the woman he thought was his mom? Just one of Luke’s girlfriends.”
What to expect in Outer Banks Season 4, Part 2
The trailer just dropped during Poguelandia: An Outer Banks Experience, and showcases the group heading to Morocco in search of the elusive Blue Crown.
New treasures also mean new enemies, and trouble seems to have just started for the Pogues. “Home… All of us, we made it home,” John B says in the trailer, “Now it’s all on the line. The question is, what would we risk to protect it?”
Things get even more complicated on Part 2: they lose their home, Pope appears behind bars, Kie is locked in a cooler, Sarah and John B. having something to “figure out” (a possible pregnancy?), and even Rafe comes along in this trip — despite getting punched on the way there!
Whatever’s going on, one thing’s for sure: they’re getting “even”. Watch the trailer below:
