‘Euphoria’ Season 3 filming delayed indefinitely

It seems like we might have to wait a bit longer for season 3 of ‘Euphoria’…

The third season of the HBO series was expected to start production soon but instead has been put on hold, while creator Sam Levinson works on scripts. The cast has been encouraged to pursue other opportunities in the meantime.

“HBO and Sam Levinson remain committed to making an exceptional third season,” the network said in a statement. “In the interim, we are allowing our in-demand cast to pursue other opportunities.”

While the network still intends to get the season 3 of drama to air sometime in 2025, this might not be the case if filming doesn’t start in the coming months. In fact, the script is yet to be finished as Levinson had major events impacting his work: the 2023 writers strike and Angus Cloud’s death – his character, Fezco, had a central storyline in the second season finale. The ‘Euphoria’ family also lost producer Kevin Turen.

Although some rumors talk about a possible cancellation due to the innumerous delays and the cast’s busy schedule, the creator of the hit series and the network are still committed to deliver a new season next year.
